Destroy All

Static X Band Shirt - Ebay
Spider Web Dress - Boohoo
Tights - Primark
Boots - River Island

As a heavy metal lover, there is nothing better than a good old band t-shirt. You can wear them with practically everything, you can even throw one on for bed if you wanted - they come in handy when it's Summer! I went though a phase of wearing band t-shirts non-stop. Band top, fishnet tights, a pair of boots and some cute shorts became my go to outfit! But then I got hooked on online shopping and my band tops were forgotten about and put in the draw - I never throw anything out, especially band tops.

I don't follow trends but everywhere I look in store or online are selling classic rock, metal, grunge and alternative band tops! What the Hell? Since when did Primark sell Slayer tops? It's madness. I go on Ebay mostly for my t-shirts or if I'm lucky enough to see my favourite bands, I make it a goal to buy a piece of merchandise. They can be expensive at gigs but I don't mind, it's special to me and a reminder of the gig! And sometime you can get them for super cheap outside ;)

In this outfit I'm wearing my Static X top, one of my all time favourite bands and I love this top. The Destroy All on the back makes me feel super bad ass. I love that this is really oversized and long so I can wear it as a dress! I've got my spider web dress on underneath for added detail but I love the dress so much I'm definitely going to make another outfit post featuring it! So. Damn. Goth.

Do you have any band tops? if so, which ones do you own?

Smile, Kiss, Laugh and Pout

Black Top - Forever 21
Tee - H&M
Shorts - Boohoo
Tights - Primark
Boots - Primark

Sorry for the bad lighting everyone! It's a pet hate of mine when blogging pictures don't look as good as I want them to be! It's super hard to get 100% quality when the weather is just grey and miserable. I really want to find a great stylish backdrop for our fashion pictures too! #bloggingproblems

I just threw this outfit on and I'm really happy with how the white shirt looks against the black. I think I'll probably start wearing more white in the warmer months. This Smile, Kiss, Laugh and Pout tee is from my new favourite shop H&M. I went over the weekend and it was 20% off if you bought 3 items or more! The quality of these tees are just so amazing. I bought this sweet little shirt and also a pink tee saying 'feminist'. I put a selfie of the feminist tshirt on instagram and to say the least, I got some really weird comments haha! You can see the post here if you want :)
So this is just a simple shirt that looks so cool and stylish. You look fashionable without trying! I love the little doodles too, I think the pouting lips are my fav.

Metal Chick

Mesh Top - Boohoo
T-shirt Dress - Boohoo
Tights - Primark
Boots - Primark

Hey everyone, I hope you all had a lovely relaxing weekend. Today we're back with another outfit post! It feels like ages since our last outfit post so another one had to go on the blog today. I don't know about you, but the shops are jam packed with gorgeous clothes and I literally cannot stop buying clothes! Every time I go to town, I come home with even more clothes! But it's for the blog right?! You can never have too many clothes hehe.

The look I'm wearing here is very grunge inspired with metal gal vibes. The shops are full of grungy looking clothes so it's super easy to create your own rock chick look! This gorgeous t-shirt dress is from Boohoo (where else?!) I love the design on this dress. It's like a band design on the front with gorgeous lace detail at the bottom to add that girly baby doll twist. I have been loving mesh tops for years now and this one from boohoo looks so perfect under this dress. You can wear mesh tops under everythingggg and they are very in fashion right now! So go get your mesh tops girls! How cute are these metallic silver boots? I got these as a present for my birthday a few weeks ago and I haven't took them off since! So cute! I haven't really had many shoes from Primark before and the quality of these boots are amazing!

Do you like this look guys? What do you think of mesh tops?

Mini Boots Haul | L'Oreal and Maybelline Products

Hello everyone, today started out a nightmare to say the least! Our two new Russian dwarf hamsters were fighting like crazy! Lana is crazy and had Luna pinned down, attacking her relentlessly. We're going to have to take Lana back to the pet shop, there is no other option. Luna is a sweet little girl that wouldn't ever hurt another hamster, very much the opposite to mad ball Lana. Also, Our dog Heidi won't stop crying because shes obsessed with the hamsters! Oh my goodness I feel like I'm going insane with it all.

Back into the world of beauty blogging now - ah, my sanctuary. We have bought three new products this week and all three happen to be new releases! Is there anything better than new makeup? L'Oreal and Maybelline are two of my favourite high street brands so let's just jump straight into the reviews!

L'Oreal Total Cover Foundation -  Foundations are something I look into before purchasing. Rachel has acne prone skin and has recently been very insecure about her skin as she had some breakouts. The last thing Rachel wanted was a foundation that made her skin irritated and made her feel even worse. This foundation is non - comedogenic! If you're not sure what that means, it means that is doesn't block pores so it doesn't cause spots. It's also water based.not oil based so this means it looks more natural and is perfect for people with oily problematic skin We both love a matte finish with heavy coverage that hides both blemishes and dark circles. This is the most perfect foundation ever. It's very thick, like a mousse almost but applies evenly and is a really lovely shade. We got the shade Light shade and it's great for pale skin. I recommend this to anyone that likes matte skin with a flawless finish that lasts all day. This is already my holy grail foundation. It hasn't broken my sensitive skin out and it makes me very so much more confident! Go and buy it now!

L'Oreal Blush Paint -  I've had cream blushers in the past but this lastest offering from L'Oreal had me very intrigued. It's in a stick form and claims to be high impact. All you have to do is simple swipe across your cheeks and rub it in with either a brush or your fingers. This doesn't have a shade name but has a light orange cap that I rather like! I love the colour, it's a lovely peach that I think would suit most skin types. It stays put all day - literally, it won't budge! This blush looks natural and so pretty, looks matte and finishes off any makeup look perfectly. I'll definitely be purchasing this again!

Maybelline Dream Brightening Booster - This claims to brighten under the eyes so I had to get it. I don't know why but I feel like my dark circles have dark circles. I bought this on a whim because why not? it seemed like an interesting product and it definitely hasn't disappointed. The shade is universal so it's suitable for everyone which is something I love about it. It's creamy and blends like a dream. I can always notice a difference when I apply this under my eyes - it definitely brightens. I think this is such a handy product to have if you want to do your makeup in a rush, just to add a little more 'awake' to your look in seconds!

So there we have it! These have been three very successful buys, the star of the bunch is the L'Oreal Total Cover foundation though. Non - comedogenic foundations usually are very expensive in my past experiences so it's amazing that L'Oreal have whipped up this beauty for us! It's a definitely must buy.

Have you bought any recent new make up products?

Tips On How To Love Yourself

Take selfies as selfies are fun and memories you can look back on hehe :)
Hello Everyone and Happy Valentines Day! Today is all about spending the day with your boyfriend/girlfriend or your family and friends. Whatever you're doing, I hope your all having a lovely day! I thought I'd write a post on self love today though as it's so so so important to love yourself and being comfortable in your own skin. I'm someone that struggles with confidence and low self esteem but recently I set myself a goal to become more confident and love myself!
Here are a few tips I picked up along the way on my journey of self love!

Think positive - This is such an important tip and probably the most difficult one to stick to. It's hard to keep positive, especially when it comes to yourself and body image. Both me and Leah are still in recovery from our eating disorders so being positive is key to recovery. We all have our bad days but everyday look into the mirror tell yourself your beautiful, that your strong and that you can get through this because it's true and you can!

Be kind to others and yourself - Being kind always makes me feel so much better about myself. Just giving people compliments can brighten your day and other peoples days. Kindness is also contagious ;) Also, be kind to yourself by relaxing and pampering yourself.

Pilates/Yoga - This may not be for everyone but I bloody love doing yoga and I have recently discovered pilates! It's hard work alright but you just feel amazing afterwards! There are so many videos on YouTube that you can exercise along with and that makes it super easy to get the best out of your exercise routine. Remember to exhale and inhale and keeping your breathing steady as it's such a stress reliever!

Meditation - Inhale the goodness and exhale the bad vibes. Just closing your eyes and deep breathing, thinking of a happy place and doing a few stretches is so peaceful. I recently found BohoBeautiful's YouTube channel and she has some really amazing meditation videos!

Eat a balanced diet - I'm sick of all these vegan diets and fad diets! There is nothing wrong with having a few days just eating whatever the hell you want! Also remember that eating healthy can be fun too! I love eating recipes from Joe Wicks cooking books and making homemade soups, banana breads and smoothies. Eat the way that makes you happy! Balanced is the way ;)

Write - Writing down whatever is on your mind is also a big tip that I can't recommend enough! Just venting and getting it all off your chest is a life saver! Talking about your problems help too.

Do things that make you happy - Shopping is therapy! Draw, play music, play an instrument, bake, take your dog on a walk, exercise, pamper, watch movies, just do whatever makes you happy!

Remember you are beautiful!

Anti-You

Gilet - Boohoo
Black Top - Primark
Patch Dungarees - River Island
Tights - Primark
Boots - River Island

I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday! As I write this post, I am sipping on some lovely Prosecco and feeling nice and full after a yummy Sunday roast, mmm! The rest of the day I plan to relax, draw and play some music :) What is everybody else doing today? I hope you're all well.

Today's post is featuring my patch black denim dungarees from River Island. I love every single patch on this, some of the patches are a cute little red heart with eyelashes, an anti-you tag, a pair of red lips, a broken heart and the word 'love.' How could you not fall in love with this outfit?! It's super cute, stylish and just amazing. You can either dress up or dress down this outfit but however you style it, it's super comfy and stylish! My biker chic inspired gilet is from Boohoo and it goes with every single outfit in my wardrobe! It's also so cozy and snug!
I can't go on about this outfit enough, it's just adorable and bang on trend I think!

Do you own any clothes with patches on? Do you personalize your own clothes with DIY patches?

You Break It, You Buy It

T-shirt - Forever 21
Black Top - Primark
Leather Skirt - River Island
Leggings - Primark
Boots - River Island

How cute is this 'You Break It, You Buy It' tee? The minute I saw this little beauty I fell in love with it! You know when you see a super cute tee and you just need it? That's what I was like when I saw this in Forever 21! Me and mum went into Forever 21 for the first time in forever. I don't know why but I have just abandoned going into Forever 21 when it used to be my favourite shop in the whole entire world! I love the cute tees and patch demin jackets along with the graphic t-shirts in Forever 21. It's a shop that is just bang on trend!

I love the hint of pink on this t-shirt and I also love the vintage look! It's fitted, american style heart break top. I also paired my black top underneath for some warmth and my beloved leather skirt. I'm also wearing my leggings that were only £1 from Primark!

It's Our 20th Birthday | Reflecting On Life

Picture from internet... not ours.

Hey everyone, It's our birthday today and oh my goodness I can't believe we're 20! It feels like yesterday that me and Rachel were 5 years old, running around with tights on our head - yes, we were and still are weird! At 20 years old we've been through a lot. Eating disorders, depression, anxiety and getting bullied at school so badly we had to be home-schooled. There have been times in my life where I didn't think I'd be able to carry on but I had the support of my family that kept me going, I have no idea what I'd do without them. Despite all these problems and inner demons, we have remained strong and true to ourselves. We love music, art and fashion. We are the best of friends. Being a twin is truly a gift, we've been through everything together, the good and the bad. We're both in a point in our lives where life is getting so much easier, happier and we are finally getting back on out feet again. Today I'm taking a moment to be thankful for all that I have but most importantly, the amazing people I have in my life - my family. Last night my boyfriend Matt came out with a cupcake with a two lit candles the minute it turned midnight - it touched me so much! Today I woke up to such special presents and I am SO thankful! I already know this is going to be the best day ever! I'm not bragging in the slightest, just a simple post on my 20th birthday to reflect on life!

I'd Rather Be A...

T-shirt - Primark
Black Velvet Top - Primark
Gold Skirt - H&M
Tights- Primark
Boots - ASOS

Happy Saturday everyone! I started my weekend off with Disney films (Cinderella and Beauty & The Beast - can't beat those classics!) , overnight oats and a good pamper session! But now I'm bringing you another outfit post and it's featuring one of my all time favourite t-shirts! My boyfriend Matt - he's a bae, bought me this top back in the Summer from Primark, it was only £6 but its magical. The sequins can be reversed to either say ''mermaid'' or ''unicorn''! How incredible is that? I always find myself swapping to mermaid or unicorn throughout the day depending on how I'm feeling - which can be a bit odd as it looks like I'm touching my chest quite a lot haha! Awkward... Anyway! I really hope more shops start bringing out this type of t-shirt, I think it's such a unique and seriously cute top! I love that it can be gold or black sequins, it's awesome.
I've got a long sleeved black velvet top on underneath my t-shirt because yes, it's still freezing and I feel like an ice cube constantly! But I love layering because it adds warmth and looks good too.

I paired my top with this amazing gold skirt from H&M. I got this is the sale just a few days ago for just £7! I've been seeing these types of skirts everywhere but this one in particular caught my eye. It's gorgeous! I like the length of it as well, most metallic skirts online are really long but I love this one - it's perfect! Not too short or long!

It's our birthday on Tuesday! We're 20 years old, whaaaaat!

January Beauty Favourites | 2017

Hey everyone! The first month of 2017 is over already and thank goodness for that! January was such a bad month for me but finally it's February! It's mine and Leah's birthday in a matter of days now and I'm so so so excited! Today's post is starring all of these little beauties that kept me and Leah happy during the miserable month of January! Let's get started!

First up is the amazing Volume Colourist Mascara from Rimmel. Rimmel is always my go to brand when it comes to mascaras so when I saw that this mascara tinted lashes I just needed to have it. Lashes are a big part of my beauty routine these days. There is nothing better than long black fluttering doll-like lashes in my opinion!  This mascara doesn't make my lashes thicker but it definitely makes them longer. If you use this mascara over time, your lashes will gradually get tinted darker and I have already noticed a little difference! What's not to love about this product?
Next we have the NYX Matte Liquid Liner. We are girls that love our eyeliner and this one is so so so perfect! It's ultra black and it applies so easily! The applicator is a small brush and it makes it super easy to achieve the perfect cat eyes. This stays on for hours and it still looks perfect towards the end of the day. It doesn't crumple or crack on the lid like some of my other liquid eyeliners! This is just the best eyeliner ever for all the liquid eyeliner junkies so you just need to get it!

Tigi Bedhead deep conditioner is just a treat to use. It smells just like toffee! I leave this conditioner on for a few minutes and my hair is left super soft and shiny and smelling so delicious! Another bonus is that it also protect hair colour from fading!
Me and Leah have also found a new love; The Body Shop! I have been obsessed with the Hemp range since getting it for Christmas. It smells so so nice and most importantly, my skin feels like silk! The lip oil is also a life saver and I have been applying it to my lips just before bed and I wake up with the softest lips.

The Stay Matte Not Flat foundation is the first one I've used from NYX and I am in love! The coverage is so perfect and the colour is so perfect for my skin tone. I have been feeling so bad about my skin recently but when I wear this foundation I feel so good about my complexion! I also love wearing Rimmel's The only matte lipstick in the shade 'Trendsetter'. This shade is perfect for dark eyes and the nude lips look which has been my go to look recently. The pigment is so amazing and this is the only matte lipstick that I love!

Are these any of your January Favourites too?
